Luxor 1 Day Trip from Sharm by plane, Fly to Luxor for the day to see its most famous sights in one day. Visit Karnak Temple on the East bank and see the Valley of Kings and Hatsheput Temple on the West bank before a return to Sharm that evening.
You will be picked up from your hotel around 4.00am in an air conditioned bus and will be taken to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your morning flight to Luxor. Only 50 minutes fly from Sharm and you’ll be in Luxor.
Our guide Will meet you for the day upon arrival at Luxor Airport.
First we will go to the West Bank
It is known as the city of the dead and is the funerary complex of the Ancient Egyptians. We will visit the Valley of the Kings – the ancient cemetery of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, hidden in the mountains between the two limestone hills of Gurna. The Valley of the Kings holds 63 registered tombs and 3 more tombs have recently been found.
We will then visit the Hatshepsut Temple
This is a mortuary temple with a unique design as it is the only temple in Egypt built in terrace formation into the cliff face. Hatshepsut was a famous female pharaoh who wore a false beard and all the trappings of male pharaohs in order to claim the throne for herself.
We will then visit the Memnon statues.
They are the only remaining statues fronting the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III and show the pharaoh sitting on his throne.
Next , we will go across the Nile to the East Bank for lunch at Maro restaurant (drinks not included).
Our last stop in this tour is the Karnak Temples
the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt. Karnak Temple complex is one of the major sites of Egypt and within its bounds the sacred energies of Ancient Egypt can still be felt. We will also see the Luxor Temple known as Temple of the Gods.
We will then return to the airport for our flight back to Sharm, arriving in Sharm at around 8pm (subject to the flight schedule). You will then be taken back to your hotel.

- 1 month ago -Excellent service Couldn’t thank Alpha enough for all his support and advise during our holiday in Sharm last week. Before we started our holiday Alpha provided us with arrange of different trips we could plan during our stay also answered any questions I had which I think there was a few given it was our first time to Egypt. We went with the option where we were collected from the airport which was great. Met with Alpha the next day and planned all or trips. We went to Luxor which was amazing! Quad biking/ buggies/ banana boat/ parasailing and even went on a camel. Such a great day. I think me and my boys would agree the highlight of our trip was snorkelling and diving in the Red Sea. Unbelievable experience which we would definitely do again. Thank you Alpha for all your support! I feel I must have had a million questions which you kindly always replied too 😊 I would highly recommend anyone booking tours get in touch with Alpha.
